I must say that I have somewhat of a bias towards Thursdays, because on Thursdays our focus is on great Actresses, the place in which my personal passion lays. Summer, for me, is the perfect time for me to study my craft as an artist. As I further my research on the original "greats" of film and acting, I cannot go very long without coming across one of my greatest inspirations in the acting realm, Miss Barbra Streisand. Known now primarily for her fantastic singing abilities, Streisand is undeniably an amazing Triple-Threat, and an outstanding Actress. Many of us have seen her play the mother in the ever-so-funny Meet The Fockers 2004. However, in 1969 the Academy named her Best Actress in a Leading Role, for my personal favorite Funny Girl 1968.
