He's baaaaccckkkkk!!!!!! TY Wat Up Doe?

Welcome back TITUS YOUNG AKA TY!!!!!They say that without STRUGGLE there is no PROGRESS! My cousin Titus Young is a prime example of one who has gone through the struggle last year and is now coming back with progress this year. Titus Young is not only working HARD on the field at Boise State as a wide receiver but he is understanding what it means to HUMBLE himself. Im so PROUD of this dude!!

I remember when we use to play football in the middle of the street after church every sunday and I would cry because he would always score on me, but I finally came to the conclusion one day that he was the football player, and I was the REAL PLAYA PLAYA..lol.....

In order to know where you are going you must know where you have came from... Here is a high-school highlight tape of Titus while he was at University High in Los Angeles CA.. WEST WEST!!!!!! CHECK OUT THE TAPE!!!

DELICATE

Do you have that ONE song that means so much to you that it has brought you through the absolute BEST and absolute WORST times in life? Well, mine has helped me through many situations, if not in a literal sense, then through each chord. Maybe YOU will be able to relate to it or apply it to your life, maybe not... But take the time to think about what Music means to you.

DELICATE

We might kiss when we are alone
When nobody's watching
We might take it home

We might make out when nobody's there
It's not that we're scared
It's just that it's delicate

So why'd you fill my sorrows
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place you've known
And why'd ya sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why'd you sing with me at all?

We might live like never before
When there's nothing to give
Well how can we ask for more

We might make love in some sacred place
The look on your face is delicate

So why'd you fill my sorrow
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place that you've known
And why'd you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why'd you sing with me at all?

And why'd you fill my sorrows
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place that you've known
Why'd you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why'd you sing with me at all?

KAYNE is TOO BOLD 4 that 1

ALL I CAN SAY IS....."WOW". What do YOU think about Kanyes action tonight??? Here is what THE GLAMOUROUS LIFE site had to say.........

"Kanye West VMA 2009 Taylor Swift Diss was not very classy at all and as a matter of fact he is a complete idiot and has taken the conceited attitude to the extreme. I truly think that Kanye West is bipolar and has a very serious problem.
First of all Beyonce could never win Female video of the year for grinding her crouch around and shaking her butt. Are you serious Kanye? Why don’t you get off the nuts of the dude who put you on anyway. We all know that’s Jay-Z.
Furthermore how do you produce his hit song DOA (Death of Autotune) right after you just recorded an entire album using Antares Autotune you T-Pain wanna be.
I’m personally tired of your arrogance and I am personally going to see if this post will bring you down. If you are reading this post just Re-Tweet and Tweet this article until your fingers get tired. All my Facebook people go nuts on this if you are also tired of this rap artist who apparently thinks he can diss the stage that was set for Michael Jackson in the first place.
Kanye West I dare you try to upstage Michael Jackson or Janet Janet Jackson.
DOKWA- This is the new acronym for the rest of 2009.
DEATH OF KANYE WEST ATTITUDE!!!
SCRUB!"

In Remembrance

Today is the anniversary of the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, and On The Apple Box wants to acknowledge and remember those tragic events that have now, brought about an enormous amount of change to our country.

As today is his first 9/11 anniversary in office, President Obama spoke this morning at the Pentagon to address the occasion.
If you were unable to watch or read his comments on this day, check out the video below and take a personal moment and join On The Apple Box in reflecting on these life/world changing events, and remember all of those who were lost on this day just eight years ago.

Luda 20 car give away....WOW!!!

Dr. Cornel West once said, "You can't LEAD the people if you don't LOVE the people and you can't SAVE the people if you don't SERVE the people." Chris Bridges, better known as Ludacris, took heed to this very saying.

Ludacris put out the call for people to write essays telling why they deserve to win a car. The call was blasted on radio stations throughout Atlanta and all over twitter. Four thousand people didnt hesitate to write their story. Several people wrote toThe Ludacris Foundation with heart felt stories about why they were deserving of a car. Every person's story was different, from single moms trying to take care of their children to a dad caring for his son with autism.

Roberta Shield, his mother and president of his foundation, spoke tothe crowd as well then it was time to pass out the keys. Each contestant was called to the stage to receive their key. The cars varied in make, model and year, from Nissan Maximums to FordExplorers. Contestants recieved their type of car based on their family size. Not only did they recieve a car, but they were also blessed with thirty days of free gas. Now who wouldn't want that? Many contestants expressed gratitude to Ludacris, but mainly to God. They were very thankful and felt that their lives were forever changed.

I have MAD RESPECT for this brotha! Dont forget to support his foundation HERE!

A Moment of Silence

RIP SPELMANITE JASMINE LYNN YOU WILL BE MISSED IN THE AUC
Photo created by close friend of Jasmine Lynn

It is always saddening when an individual's life is taken, what to us seems to be, all too soon. Ms. Jasmine Lynn, a young Sophomore at Spelman College had her life taken in the midst of a thoughtless act of violence that occurred on Clark Atlanta University's campus last night. A thick layer of mourning is covering the AUC like a shell currently as each Flag is hung at half mass. Unfortunately the memorial services have not yet been announced, however, as a Spelman sister and a Morehouse brother of Ms. Lynn, On The Apple Box wanted to provide our deepest condolences to her family and friends. We hope that you all will be touched and uplifted by the quick memorial that we have provided in her regard, and that your hearts will be filled with remembrance of her amazing life.
